A Day Tour to Cloud 9, Antipolo

It is the last week of the school year 2017, the first year of our senior high school is about to end. A lot of surprises eager us to do our best as a student and as an individual.  The school year was about to end, we need some break from the city and school. I've read about this place when someone posted it in Facebook and it gone viral because of its scenery, good for day tour and a low budget trip. I’ve inform my two buddies about the post and we all agreed to go to the place. It is the 360° View Point located at Cloud 9 Hotel and Resort, Antipolo City. Antipolo is a neighbor town of us and it is known for “The Pilgrimage Capital of The Philippines”.

It is seventh day of April, the day we are waiting for and we ride from Buting to Sumulong highway, Antipolo to reach the Cloud 9 Hotel and Resort. But before that we visited the famous Antipolo Church, the Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage. It is known and serves as a pilgrimage site to Filipinos seeking for sacred safe journey, for over 391 years. After a mass, we bought bracelet as a souvenir and take pictures. It’s time to go to 360°c View Point, we ride jeepney going to Cubao, Sumulong Highway where the Cloud 9 Hotel and Resort can be found. It took us 15 minutes in the road before we arrived. By the time we arrived, the place welcome us with stunning greenery view. I think it took us 100 steps before we reach the Hotel, it is stiff and a little far from the entrance. We saw how high and long does the famous hanging bridge was. And a volt of excitement flow over my body by the time we arrived in the area, we're welcomed by a small exhibit, showcasing some various items, memorabilia affiliated to Antipolo History.

Cloud 9 Hotel and Resort has its special at its own. Built in 1995, it became one of the most popular destinations in Antipolo. It is known for most fancied hotel and seminar venue.  Wherein you'll see a numerous amenities, famous hanging bridge and 360°c View Point. Its 12nn when we arrived, the warmth of sun soaking deep into our skin. We got table, to have rest and to eat our packed food, but since it’s a hotel we need to pay for corkage. It cost 100 pesos per head, including the entrance fee at the Hanging Bridge. The restaurant have its stunning view, and also there is a view deck for the customers to take photos.

It’s time to face the high wire rope bridge, to face that so called fear of heights that I don't have. But I didn’t expect that I’d felt that way, my feet was trembling because of nervousness. My heart bounce eager .The bridge was literally moving and swaying as you wall with other tourist, my heartbeat, beating rhythmically. But despite of that you will see the marvelous beauty of nature of Antipolo. It allows you to see a wonderful overlooking view of Antipolo and Sierra Madre Mountain. As I reach the end at the 360° tower, it was truly a nerve wracking experience. I feel like I already reach the heaven a million of experience.

Beautiful smiles drawn in our faces. The breathtaking bridge was worth it. At the top you will able to see the attractive skyline beauty of Antipolo, Metro Manila, Sierra Madre Mountain and even a part of Laguna de Bay. A scenic place full of greenery plants and it is so windy. Listening to the breeze gently blowing the blades of green plants in the place. The scenery took me to the other world. We took a lot of photos and seat beside each other. We notice some written words at the wooden floor. We are allowed to write, and we wrote our names on the floor for a trademark. 

The one and half hour stay at the top of the 360°c view point was worth the time, effort and money. Going down from the tower, you will see the different artworks on the wall as you go down at the stairs, immensely beautiful arts.  At the ground you will prompt to a tunnel, it looks like a hanging bridge adorned with luscious green and colorful flowers, it is called 7th Heaven. This 360°View Point and Hanging Bridge is a one of a kind place. If you love nature, has tight budget, toxic with the city life, this is the answer. You will enjoy the city escape over the windy cold breeze while at the top of 360° View Tower.
