Felicity (a free verse poem)



Felicity

It is not just on your mind
but it is what you feel inside
It is a state of a peaceful bliss
that no one can erase

It is for givers
and not for takers
It is about giving and sacrificing
And in countless time it is fulfilling

It is something you can sense
The blissfulness inside is intense
Behold to any tiny thinv
And believe it will create a big thing

It is simply having your complete family in one table
Rejoicing and telling what you have done that day
Having a delicious food to eat
And seeing the precious smiles in their faces

Spread it until you can
Cause maybe your happiness is someones gladness
Come out the best trait in you
Get around and be thankful

It cannot be bought, owned or touched
It is purely takes a positive heart to have a beautiful life

You must look within yourself
When times are blue
Because felicity is a thing
That lives in you.

F irst Escapade of Travel Buddies A Day Tour to Cloud 9, Antipolo It is the last week of the school year 2017, the first year of our senior high school is about to end. A lot of surprises eager us to do our best as a student and as an individual.   The school year was about to end, we need some break from the city and school. I've read about this place when someone posted it in Facebook and it gone viral because of its scenery, good for day tour and a low budget trip. I’ve inform my two buddies about the post and we all agreed to go to the place. It is the 360° View Point located at Cloud 9 Hotel and Resort, Antipolo City. Antipolo is a neighbor town of us and it is known for “The Pilgrimage Capital of The Philippines”. Personal Narrative

4 Days of My Summer Break 2015 at Sinait, Ilocos Sur One week before April 30, my older brother and I were invited by my Uncle to have a 4-day mini vacation at their house in Sinait, Ilocos Sur, because of the upcoming feast and without any hesitation, we accepted the invitation. Maybe 4 days was too short, it was like a blink of an eye, but it worth the days. We travelled for almost 8 hours, Manila- Ilocos Sur, it was tiring yet so excited. As we arrived at the terminal, on the 31 st of April, my Aunt, Uncle and cousins were the ones who accompanied us. Right after that, my Uncle drove and stop in the mini cafeteria. It’s already lunch time and we decided to eat. We tasted the mouthwatering authentic food that the Ilocano’s are proud of like Pinakbet, Liempo, Fried TIlapia and most especially my favorite the empanda and chichacorn for desert.
